It is known that the Biblical authors of the King James’s Version sometimes made mistakes when translating plant names from Hebrew or Greek into English. These translations of, ‘apples,’ ‘lilies,’ and ‘roses’ are in actuality, apricots, anemones, and narcissi. Confusion now, is clearly evident in the proper selection of plants suitable for a Bible garden.
